Network & Security Architecture (NSA)
We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Architecture (NSA) professional to design, develop and govern secure, resilient technology architectures across complex infrastructure and digital environments. The successful candidate will translate business and technology requirements into practical network and security solutions, ensuring that confidentiality, integrity, availability and regulatory obligations are built into every stage of the architecture lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include defining target-state network and security architectures; developing principles, standards, reference models and technical roadmaps; and assessing existing environments to identify risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement. You will provide architectural direction across areas such as enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, segmentation, zero-trust principles, firewalls, identity and access management, remote access, encryption, monitoring and incident response. The role will involve collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, operations, risk and compliance teams, as well as reviewing proposed designs and ensuring that solutions align with security policies and organisational objectives. You will also contribute to technology selection, technical assurance, threat modelling, security assessments and the management of architecture exceptions.
Applicants should have substantial experience in network and security architecture within large, complex or highly regulated environments. Strong knowledge of routing and switching, network security controls, cloud platforms, secure network design and common cybersecurity frameworks is essential. Experience with architecture methodologies, risk management, vulnerability reduction and communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is highly desirable. Relevant professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud or architecture would be advantageous. You will be expected to work independently, challenge assumptions constructively and balance security, operational resilience, performance, cost and user experience when making recommendations. This is an opportunity to influence long-term technology strategy while delivering secure, scalable and sustainable solutions.
