Senior Project Manager - Zero Trust Network Security

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex Zero Trust network security initiatives across a large, distributed technology environment. You will be responsible for developing project plans, defining milestones, managing dependencies, and coordinating work across security, infrastructure, networking, architecture, compliance, and business teams. The role will focus on strengthening identity-aware access, network segmentation, secure remote connectivity, endpoint controls, and continuous monitoring in line with recognised Zero Trust principles.

You will manage projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality standards are effectively controlled. Key responsibilities include establishing governance and reporting processes, preparing executive updates, maintaining RAID logs, coordinating technical workstreams, and ensuring that deliverables meet security and operational requirements. You will facilitate workshops, support architectural and design decisions, oversee vendor and partner activity, and drive the resolution of issues that could affect delivery. You will also ensure appropriate testing, documentation, training, change management, and transition into business-as-usual operations.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing enterprise-scale cybersecurity, network transformation, or infrastructure programmes, with a strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security controls. Experience with identity and access management, network access control, cloud security, firewalls, micro-segmentation, secure service access, and security monitoring is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working with both technical and senior stakeholder audiences, translating complex concepts into clear plans and decisions. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience using structured project management methodologies. Relevant professional qualifications in project management, cybersecurity, networking, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
