Security Reporting and Governance Analyst
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Reporting and Governance Analyst to support the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of information security governance and reporting. This role will suit an analytical and highly organised professional who can interpret complex information, produce clear management insight and work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be responsible for gathering, validating and consolidating security data from a range of sources, ensuring reports are accurate, timely and aligned with agreed standards. You will prepare regular dashboards, performance reports and briefing materials for governance forums and senior stakeholders, highlighting key trends, risks, incidents, control effectiveness and areas requiring attention. The role will also involve tracking actions, decisions and risk treatments through to completion.
Working closely with information security, risk, compliance, technology and operational teams, you will help maintain governance artefacts, policies, procedures, risk registers and control evidence. You will support assurance activities, audits and regulatory requests by coordinating evidence collection and identifying gaps or inconsistencies. The successful candidate will contribute to improving reporting processes, introducing efficiencies and helping to establish consistent approaches across security governance and performance management.
Applicants should have experience in security reporting, governance, risk, compliance or a closely related discipline, together with strong skills in data analysis and presentation. You will be comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools and data visualisation platforms, and able to translate technical or quantitative information into concise, meaningful recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of recognised information security, risk or governance frameworks would be advantageous, as would experience supporting audits, control assessments or senior-level governance meetings. Above all, you should demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail, a collaborative approach and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.
