We are seeking a Software Engineer specialising in Threat Intelligence to help build and improve systems that identify, analyse and respond to emerging cyber threats. You will work on products and services that enable security professionals to understand malicious activity, assess risk and protect users and organisations at scale.

You will design, develop, test and maintain reliable software for collecting, enriching and processing threat intelligence from a range of sources. Your responsibilities will include creating scalable data pipelines, developing APIs and services, improving detection and analysis capabilities, and integrating internal and external intelligence feeds. You will also contribute to technical design decisions, investigate complex production issues and help ensure that systems are secure, observable and resilient.

The role involves close collaboration with threat researchers, security engineers, product managers and infrastructure teams. You will translate investigative and operational requirements into practical technical solutions, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and contribute to code reviews, documentation and engineering standards. You will be encouraged to identify opportunities to improve automation, performance and the quality of intelligence delivered to customers.

Applicants should have professional experience developing production software, ideally using languages such as Python, Go, Java or a similar language. You will need a strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, databases, distributed systems and API design. Experience working with cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, data processing systems or security-related applications would be valuable.

Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, indicators of compromise, malware analysis, attack techniques or security operations is desirable, but a willingness to learn and engage with these areas is equally important. We value analytical thinking, sound judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach. You should be comfortable working in an evolving environment, managing priorities and taking ownership of projects from design through to delivery.
