We are seeking a Senior SOC Engineer to strengthen a security operations function responsible for protecting critical systems, networks, applications, and data. In this role, you will provide advanced technical expertise across security monitoring, incident detection, investigation, and response, with a particular focus on SentinelOne and endpoint protection capabilities. You will work closely with security analysts, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders to identify threats, contain incidents, and improve the organisation’s overall security posture.

Your responsibilities will include tuning and maintaining SentinelOne policies, detection rules, alerts, and response workflows; investigating complex endpoint and network security events; leading or supporting incident response activities; and conducting root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews. You will develop and maintain detection and response playbooks, improve alert quality, reduce false positives, and contribute to threat hunting exercises using endpoint, identity, cloud, and network telemetry. The role will also involve supporting vulnerability remediation, producing clear technical reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping to automate repetitive SOC processes through scripting and integration with SIEM, SOAR, and ticketing platforms.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a SOC, incident response, threat detection, or security engineering environment, together with strong practical knowledge of SentinelOne or a comparable endpoint detection and response platform. You should understand common attack techniques, malware behaviour, network protocols, identity-based threats, and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Experience with SIEM technologies, threat intelligence, scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, and cloud security monitoring is highly desirable. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work calmly during high-severity incidents and collaborate effectively across technical teams. Relevant security certifications or equivalent hands-on experience would be advantageous.
