Evergreen-Cyber and Intelligence Software Engineering Graduate
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Graduate to join a team developing secure, resilient and intelligence-focused technology solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build practical experience across the software development lifecycle while contributing to projects that support cyber security, data analysis and mission-critical operations. You will work alongside experienced engineers, analysts and technical specialists in a collaborative environment where learning, innovation and professional development are encouraged.
Depending on project requirements, your responsibilities may include designing, developing and testing software applications; writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code; investigating technical problems and implementing effective solutions; and contributing to application integration, automation and continuous improvement. You may work with structured and unstructured data, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, scripting languages and secure development practices. The role may also involve participating in code reviews, technical discussions, system testing, documentation and the use of version-control and agile development methodologies. You will be expected to understand requirements, communicate progress clearly and consider security, reliability and usability throughout the development process.
Applicants should have, or be due to obtain, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Mathematics or a related technical discipline. We welcome candidates with academic, personal or placement experience in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, C# or JavaScript, along with an understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures and testing. An interest in cyber security, intelligence systems, secure coding, cloud platforms or emerging technologies would be advantageous. We are looking for curious and adaptable individuals who demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork and a willingness to learn. Eligibility for any required background screening and the ability to meet applicable security requirements may be necessary.
