We are seeking a Threat Intelligence Software Engineer to build and enhance systems that help security teams identify, understand, and respond to emerging cyber threats. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software and data pipelines that collect, enrich, analyse, and distribute threat intelligence from a wide range of sources. You will work closely with threat researchers, security analysts, data engineers, and product teams to turn complex intelligence requirements into reliable, usable technology.

Your responsibilities will include developing production-quality services and automation using languages such as Python, Go, or Rust; integrating external and internal data sources; improving data quality, normalisation, and entity resolution; and creating APIs, workflows, and analytical tools for intelligence consumers. You will contribute to system architecture, technical planning, testing, observability, and incident response. You will also help establish engineering standards for secure development, scalability, performance, and operational resilience, while translating investigative and analytical needs into practical software solutions.

The successful candidate will have professional experience building distributed systems, backend services, data processing pipelines, or security-focused applications. Strong programming and software engineering fundamentals are essential, along with experience working with cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, and version control. Knowledge of threat intelligence concepts, cyber security operations, malware, indicators of compromise, attack techniques, or open-source intelligence is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working with ambiguous problems, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and taking ownership from design through deployment and ongoing improvement. Experience with containers, infrastructure as code, stream processing, machine learning, or large-scale data platforms would be an advantage.
