Digital Workplace and Security Communications Manager
We are seeking a Digital Workplace and Security Communications Manager to lead clear, engaging and effective communications across digital workplace services and information security. This role will help colleagues understand how to use workplace technology confidently, adopt new tools and follow best practice to protect information, systems and customers.
You will develop and deliver communication strategies for digital workplace and security initiatives, translating complex technical and regulatory information into accessible content for a range of audiences. Responsibilities will include creating campaigns, intranet content, newsletters, guidance, presentations, videos and leadership briefings, as well as managing communication plans for technology changes, security awareness programmes and business continuity activity.
Working closely with technology, information security, risk, human resources and internal communications teams, you will ensure messages are timely, consistent and aligned with organisational priorities. You will advise project and service teams on stakeholder engagement, support change adoption and use feedback, analytics and engagement data to improve communications. You may also coordinate awareness events, phishing education, mandatory training communications and responses to emerging security risks.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in digital workplace, technology or information security communications, ideally within a complex or regulated environment. You will be an excellent writer and editor, able to adapt your style for technical and non-technical audiences. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills are essential, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadline.
You should be comfortable working with collaboration platforms, intranets, content management systems and standard digital communication tools. An understanding of cyber security principles, data protection, information governance and behaviour change would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and collaborative, with sound judgement and a genuine interest in helping people work securely and effectively.
This is an opportunity to shape how colleagues experience digital services and understand their role in protecting information. You will make a visible contribution by connecting people, technology and security through communications that are practical, engaging and easy to act upon.
