We are seeking an AI Security Architect to define and lead security strategies for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven platforms. In this role, you will establish secure-by-design principles across the AI lifecycle, from data collection and model development through deployment, monitoring, and retirement. You will work closely with engineering, data science, cloud, risk, privacy, and compliance teams to identify threats, reduce exposure, and ensure that AI services are resilient, trustworthy, and aligned with applicable regulations and internal standards.

Your responsibilities will include developing AI security architecture patterns, threat models, control frameworks, and reference designs for cloud and on-premises environments. You will assess risks such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, adversarial attacks, insecure model supply chains, unauthorised access, privacy leakage, and misuse of generative AI. You will advise on identity and access management, encryption, secrets management, secure APIs, data governance, model validation, red teaming, logging, incident response, and continuous security monitoring. You will also review proposed AI solutions, provide security guidance throughout delivery, and help define measurable security and assurance requirements.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in cybersecurity architecture, application security, cloud security, or a related discipline, with practical knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies. Experience securing large language models, generative AI applications, MLOps pipelines, or model-hosting platforms is highly desirable. You should be comfortable translating complex technical risks into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions across multiple teams, and balancing innovation with appropriate governance. Relevant certifications in security architecture, cloud security, risk management, or privacy are advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to emerging threats and technologies.
