We are seeking an experienced Zero Trust Security Architect to define and deliver secure, scalable security architectures across a complex technology environment in London. You will develop and maintain a practical Zero Trust strategy aligned with business objectives, regulatory expectations and recognised security frameworks. Working closely with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, identity and risk teams, you will translate security principles into clear architectural standards, roadmaps and implementation plans.

Your responsibilities will include designing identity-centric access controls, network segmentation, endpoint security, data protection and continuous monitoring capabilities. You will assess existing architectures, identify control gaps and recommend improvements across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. You will provide architectural assurance for major programmes, review technical designs, define security patterns and reference architectures, and support the adoption of least-privilege, strong authentication and policy-based access. You will also contribute to threat modelling, risk assessments, security testing and the development of governance processes, while communicating complex risks and recommendations to both technical and senior stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have substantial experience in security architecture, enterprise security or Zero Trust transformation, with a strong understanding of identity and access management, privileged access, SASE or secure network access, cloud security and endpoint controls. Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Entra ID, Active Directory, security information and event management, and modern authentication technologies would be valuable. You should be familiar with frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and relevant UK data protection requirements. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA or a comparable qualification are desirable. Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with the ability to influence delivery teams and turn strategic objectives into practical, measurable outcomes.
