We are seeking a Cyber Claims Specialist to manage and assess claims arising from cyber incidents, data breaches, ransomware attacks, technology failures and other digital risks. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for policyholders, brokers, insurers, forensic specialists, legal advisers and incident response providers, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently, accurately and in accordance with policy terms and service standards.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing notifications and policy documentation, assessing coverage, validating losses and coordinating the investigation of complex cyber events. You will gather and analyse technical, financial and legal information, identify potential indemnity issues, establish appropriate claims reserves and make reasoned recommendations on settlement. You will also monitor the progress of claims from first notification through to resolution, maintain clear and comprehensive records, prepare reports for relevant stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve claims processes and customer outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience in cyber insurance, technology errors and omissions, professional indemnity, commercial claims or a related specialist field. A strong understanding of cyber risks, incident response, business interruption, data privacy and third-party liability is highly desirable. You should be confident interpreting policy wording, analysing complex information and managing sensitive matters with discretion.
