Senior Cyber Risk Partnering Manager
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Risk Partnering Manager to strengthen cyber risk management across a complex, evolving organisation. This role will act as a trusted partner to senior business and technology stakeholders, helping them understand cyber risks, make informed decisions and embed effective controls into strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. You will bring a pragmatic, collaborative approach to risk management, balancing security requirements with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with senior leaders and acting as a key point of contact for cyber risk advice, assurance and escalation. You will identify, assess and articulate cyber risks across products, services, change programmes and third-party relationships, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are developed and tracked. You will support the maintenance of risk registers, provide clear reporting and insights to governance forums, and challenge risk owners constructively where controls or remediation activities are insufficient. You will also contribute to the development of cyber risk frameworks, policies, methodologies and management information, while promoting consistent and proportionate risk practices across the organisation.
To succeed, you will have substantial experience in cyber security, technology risk, information security or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of risk assessment, control frameworks, governance and regulatory expectations. You will be confident engaging stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into clear business language and influencing decisions without relying solely on formal authority. Experience working across large, complex or regulated environments, as well as familiarity with recognised frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or COBIT, would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the judgement to prioritise competing risks and deliver practical outcomes. Relevant professional qualifications in cyber security, audit, risk or information assurance are desirable.
