Threat Intelligence Lead
We are seeking an experienced Threat Intelligence Lead to develop and mature an intelligence capability that supports security operations, risk management and strategic decision-making. You will lead the collection, analysis and dissemination of actionable intelligence relating to cyber threats, threat actors, vulnerabilities, campaigns and emerging risks. Working closely with security engineering, incident response, vulnerability management, fraud, privacy and business stakeholders, you will ensure intelligence is relevant, timely and aligned with organisational priorities.
Your responsibilities will include setting the threat intelligence strategy and operating model; managing the intelligence lifecycle from requirements gathering through collection, analysis and reporting; and producing clear assessments, briefings, alerts and executive-level reports. You will identify trends and patterns across open-source, commercial, technical and internal data sources, assess threat actor capability and intent, and translate findings into practical recommendations. You will also support incident investigations, threat hunting and proactive risk assessments, while contributing to tabletop exercises, security awareness activities and the ongoing improvement of detection and response capabilities. Where appropriate, you will coordinate intelligence-sharing relationships with trusted external partners and relevant industry communities.
You will bring substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, incident response or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of intelligence frameworks, the threat landscape and the behaviours of common adversaries. Experience leading or mentoring analysts and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should be comfortable working with security platforms, threat intelligence tools, malware or vulnerability information, and structured analytic techniques. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to senior and non-technical audiences. A methodical, curious and collaborative approach, sound judgement, and a commitment to handling sensitive information responsibly are essential. Relevant professional certifications or formal qualifications in cybersecurity, intelligence or information assurance would be advantageous.
