We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Vulnerability Lead to take ownership of the organisation’s vulnerability management capability and help reduce cyber risk across a complex technology environment. You will lead the identification, assessment, prioritisation and remediation of vulnerabilities affecting infrastructure, applications, cloud services, endpoints and third-party platforms. Working closely with security, technology, engineering and risk teams, you will ensure vulnerabilities are managed consistently, transparently and in line with business priorities.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining vulnerability management policies, standards, processes and reporting; overseeing vulnerability scanning, testing and validation activities; analysing findings to distinguish genuine risks from false positives; and prioritising remediation based on exploitability, business impact, asset criticality and threat intelligence. Applicants should have substantial experience in cyber security, vulnerability management or a closely related discipline, with a strong understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies, common weaknesses, attack techniques and remediation practices. Practical experience with vulnerability scanning and security testing tools, risk frameworks, cloud security and infrastructure technologies is highly desirable. You will be confident interpreting technical findings and communicating them to both specialist and non-technical audiences. Strong stakeholder management, influencing, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple teams. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
