We are seeking an experienced Manager, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Trust and Compliance to lead security and privacy activities across the UK and Ireland. This role will help protect information, technology, customers and colleagues by strengthening governance, managing risk and promoting a culture of secure and responsible business practices. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, legal, procurement, internal audit and operational functions to ensure that security and privacy requirements are embedded into business decisions and day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining cybersecurity, privacy and compliance programmes aligned with relevant laws, regulations, standards and organisational policies. You will oversee risk assessments, control reviews, security and privacy impact assessments, third-party due diligence, audit preparation and remediation tracking. You may also contribute to awareness initiatives, policy development, business continuity planning and the continuous improvement of security controls.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, privacy, risk management or compliance, ideally within a complex or regulated environment. You should understand frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and UK data protection requirements, with the ability to interpret them pragmatically and apply them to business operations. Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills are essential, along with sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, or equivalent experience, would be advantageous. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact by helping build resilient, trusted and privacy-conscious operations across the region.
