OT Cybersecurity Compliance Lead – EMEA Projects and Systems
We are seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity Compliance Lead to support projects, systems and operational technology environments across the EMEA region. This role will lead the integration of cybersecurity compliance requirements throughout the lifecycle of industrial, manufacturing, engineering or critical infrastructure projects, ensuring that security controls are effectively designed, implemented, documented and maintained. You will work closely with engineering, IT, operations, project management, procurement and external partners to strengthen cyber resilience and support secure, compliant delivery.
Your responsibilities will include interpreting applicable regulations, standards and contractual requirements; developing OT cybersecurity compliance plans; conducting risk assessments, control reviews and gap analyses; and tracking remediation activities through to completion. You will define and maintain security requirements for OT systems, networks, applications and suppliers, while contributing to architecture reviews, secure-by-design processes, system acceptance and change management. The role will also involve preparing audit evidence, coordinating internal and external assessments, monitoring compliance performance, and producing clear reports for technical and senior stakeholders. You will help establish consistent policies, procedures, templates and governance practices across regional projects and operational sites.
Applicants should have substantial experience in OT or industrial cybersecurity, cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of recognised frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2 or relevant regional requirements is essential, together with practical understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs, network segmentation, vulnerability management and third-party risk. Experience leading cross-functional projects in an international environment, managing audits and translating technical risks into business-focused recommendations is highly desirable. Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills are required, along with the ability to work independently across multiple priorities. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISA/IEC 62443 are advantageous. The role may require regional travel and collaboration across different time zones.
