Lead Technology, Resilience and Cyber Associate
We are seeking a Lead Technology, Resilience and Cyber Associate to support the development and delivery of robust technology, operational resilience and cyber security practices. This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s ability to manage technology-related risks, respond to disruption and protect critical services, information and stakeholders.
You will lead or contribute to assessments of technology resilience, cyber risk, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements. Responsibilities will include identifying vulnerabilities, reviewing control effectiveness, assessing important business services and supporting scenario testing and remediation planning. You will work closely with technology, risk, compliance, audit and operational teams to ensure that resilience and cyber considerations are embedded into decision-making and change initiatives.
The role will involve monitoring emerging threats and regulatory expectations, maintaining relevant policies and frameworks, and preparing clear reports for senior stakeholders. You will help coordinate responses to incidents, lessons-learned reviews and improvement programmes, while providing constructive challenge and practical advice. You may also support the development of metrics, management information, risk assessments and governance materials that demonstrate progress and highlight areas requiring attention.
The successful candidate will have experience in technology risk, cyber security, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery or a closely related discipline. You will be comfortable working across multiple teams, managing competing priorities and translating complex technical matters into clear business language. Knowledge of recognised resilience, risk or cyber frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements would be advantageous.
You will be a confident communicator with strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder-management skills. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential, together with the ability to exercise sound judgement, challenge appropriately and influence outcomes without relying solely on formal authority. Professional qualifications or relevant certifications in cyber security, risk, audit, resilience or technology would be welcomed, alongside a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
