Lead Technology, Resilience and Cyber Associate
We are seeking a Lead Technology, Resilience and Cyber Associate to support the development and delivery of robust technology, operational resilience and cyber security capabilities. This is a broad role for an experienced professional who can provide practical guidance, challenge existing practices and help strengthen the organisation’s ability to prevent, withstand and recover from disruption.
You will lead assessments of technology and cyber risks, identify vulnerabilities and recommend proportionate improvements. Working with colleagues across technology, risk, compliance and business teams, you will help maintain effective frameworks, policies, controls and reporting. You will also contribute to the development and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery and incident response arrangements, ensuring that lessons learned are translated into meaningful actions.
Key responsibilities will include overseeing resilience and cyber risk assessments; supporting scenario testing and exercising; monitoring remediation plans; preparing clear reports for senior stakeholders; and providing constructive challenge on technology controls, third-party arrangements and operational processes. You will help assess the potential impact of incidents, coordinate responses where required and ensure that material risks and control weaknesses are escalated appropriately.
The successful candidate will have experience in technology risk, cyber security, operational resilience, business continuity, IT audit or a closely related discipline. You should understand relevant control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, incident management and recovery planning, together with the risks associated with cloud services, outsourcing and changing technology environments. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical and communication skills with sound judgement and a collaborative approach. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, translating technical information into clear business implications and managing several priorities in a changing environment. The ability to influence without direct authority, challenge constructively and deliver high-quality work to deadline will be essential.
