We are seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager, Cyber Security Operations Architect to design and deliver effective security operations capabilities across complex technology environments. You will lead security operations architecture engagements from initial assessment through to implementation. Responsibilities will include evaluating current capabilities, defining target operating models, developing security architecture roadmaps and designing solutions across areas such as security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, identity security and cloud security. You will translate business and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable and risk-based recommendations.

The role will involve working closely with technology, risk, compliance and engineering teams, as well as presenting findings and proposals to senior leadership. You will contribute to bids, proposals and thought leadership, support the development of colleagues, and help establish repeatable methods, standards and reference architectures. Depending on experience, you may also manage project teams, oversee delivery quality, control budgets and build trusted client relationships.

Applicants should have significant experience in cyber security operations, security architecture or a related consulting environment. You will have a strong understanding of security operations centre design, SIEM and SOAR technologies, threat intelligence, detection engineering, incident management and relevant cloud security controls. Experience with frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK or COBIT would be advantageous.

Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, GIAC or equivalent are desirable. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, collaborative and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-changing environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant or Manager, Cyber Security Operations Architect, to design and deliver secure, resilient and effective cyber security operating capabilities. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and the ability to translate complex security challenges into practical, sustainable solutions.

You will lead the development of security operations strategies, target operating models and architectural designs across areas such as security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security orchestration and automation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners, you will assess current capabilities, identify risks and define pragmatic roadmaps for improvement.

Key responsibilities will include leading cyber security maturity assessments, designing Security Operations Centre capabilities, developing processes and governance frameworks, and supporting the selection and implementation of security technologies. You will contribute to bids, proposals and thought leadership, while managing workstreams, budgets, deliverables and stakeholder relationships. At Manager level, you will also provide direction to consultants, support their development and take accountability for the successful delivery of engagements.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber security operations, security architecture or a related consulting environment. You should be confident working across strategic, operational and technical levels, with a strong understanding of industry frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls or MITRE ATT&CK. Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security and automation technologies would be highly beneficial.

Excellent communication, facilitation and analytical skills are essential, together with the ability to build trusted relationships and present recommendations clearly to both technical and executive audiences. Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent, are desirable.
