We are seeking an IT & Security Analyst to support the effective, secure and reliable operation of technology services across the organisation. This role will combine day-to-day IT support with security monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems while helping to protect systems, data and users.

You will provide timely support for hardware, software, networks and user accounts, investigating incidents and service requests through to resolution. Responsibilities will include managing user access, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate IT documentation, and supporting the deployment and maintenance of devices, applications and security controls. You will also help monitor systems and security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, escalate incidents where appropriate and contribute to post-incident reviews.

The role will involve working with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain strong levels of service and ensure that technology meets operational and security requirements. You will contribute to vulnerability management, patching, endpoint protection, backup checks and the implementation of relevant policies and procedures. You will also support user awareness initiatives, helping colleagues understand good security practices and their responsibilities when handling information.

Applicants should have experience in an IT support, infrastructure or security-focused role, with a sound understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, identity and access management, networking fundamentals and common cyber-security risks. Familiarity with security monitoring tools, ticketing systems, endpoint management, vulnerability scanning or recognised security frameworks would be advantageous.

We are looking for a practical and methodical individual with strong analytical and communication skills. You should be able to prioritise competing demands, explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues and handle sensitive information with discretion. Relevant qualifications or certifications in IT, cyber security or a related discipline are welcome, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development.
