We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to help protect critical systems, applications, networks and data from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate alerts and support the timely identification, containment and resolution of incidents. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to strengthen security controls, reduce risk and promote a proactive security culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include analysing alerts from security information and event management platforms, endpoint protection tools, vulnerability scanners and other monitoring technologies. You will investigate suspicious activity, perform initial incident triage, document findings and escalate significant events in line with established procedures. The role will also involve supporting vulnerability assessments, reviewing system and application logs, contributing to threat intelligence activities, assisting with security testing and recommending practical remediation measures. You may help maintain incident response plans, security policies, risk registers and operational reports, while contributing to audits and compliance activities where required.

Applicants should have experience in a cyber security, security operations or information technology environment, with a sound understanding of common threats, attack techniques, network security principles, identity and access management and incident response processes. Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management and ticketing tools is desirable, along with the ability to interpret logs and investigate events using structured analytical methods. Relevant professional certifications or formal training in cyber security will be advantageous. You should be curious, methodical and able to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, strong attention to detail, effective prioritisation skills and a commitment to protecting information and maintaining confidentiality.
