In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the business units and the data privacy team, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and maintain data privacy programs that align with our organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting data privacy impact assessments, reviewing data processing agreements, and providing guidance on privacy-related matters to mitigate risks associated with personal data handling.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data privacy legislation, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations. You will be responsible for training and educating employees on data privacy practices, as well as staying current with evolving privacy regulations and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of privacy awareness. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with certifications such as CIPP or CIPM, is highly desirable.
