In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and mitigating risks associated with data privacy. You will work closely with various departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that protect sensitive information while enabling the business to achieve its objectives. Your expertise will be pivotal in conducting privacy impact assessments, providing guidance on data handling practices, and fostering a culture of privacy awareness throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks. You should possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Additionally, you will play a key role in training employees on data privacy best practices and responding to data subject requests. Your analytical skills will help you identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring our data handling processes are robust and secure.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy or compliance roles. Certification such as CIPP or CIPM is preferred.
