We are seeking a Data Scientist – Security & Intelligence to develop analytical solutions that support informed decision-making in complex and fast-moving environments. You will work with large, varied datasets to identify patterns, assess risks, uncover emerging threats and generate actionable intelligence. The role will involve collaborating with analysts, engineers, operational teams and senior stakeholders to translate business and security challenges into effective data-driven approaches.

Your responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning and integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple sources; designing and deploying statistical, machine learning and predictive models; and communicating findings through clear reports, visualisations and briefings. You will help establish robust analytical methodologies, monitor model performance, identify data quality issues and contribute to the responsible use of data. You may also support the development of automated workflows, dashboards and tools that improve intelligence production, risk assessment and operational awareness. A strong focus on confidentiality, ethical analysis, data protection and secure working practices is essential.

We are looking for someone with professional experience in data science, analytics, security, intelligence, risk or a related field. You should have strong programming skills in Python or R, sound knowledge of SQL, and practical experience with statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualisation. Familiarity with technologies such as cloud platforms, distributed data processing, geospatial analysis, natural language processing or graph analytics would be advantageous. You will be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, challenge assumptions constructively and work effectively with sensitive information. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
