Vice President, Information Security - Cyber Threat Simulation
We are seeking a Vice President, Information Security – Cyber Threat Simulation to lead the strategy, development, and execution of advanced threat simulation capabilities across a complex enterprise environment. This senior leader will oversee programmes that emulate real-world cyber attacks, assess organisational resilience, and provide actionable insight to strengthen security controls, detection capabilities, incident response, and overall risk management. The role will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business priorities.
Responsibilities will include setting the vision and operating model for red team, purple team, adversary emulation, penetration testing, and attack simulation activities. You will establish appropriate governance, methodologies, metrics, and quality standards while ensuring engagements are risk-managed, legally compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The role will lead the identification and modelling of relevant threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures, using intelligence-led scenarios to test people, processes, and technology. You will also oversee the communication of findings, remediation tracking, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in information security, cyber threat simulation, offensive security, or a related discipline, gained within large and highly regulated or technically complex environments. A strong understanding of threat intelligence, security architecture, cloud technologies, vulnerability management, detection engineering, and incident response is required. Experience building high-performing global teams, managing substantial budgets and external partners, and influencing senior executives is essential. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CREST, GIAC, or equivalent credentials are advantageous. The role requires sound judgement, excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance rigorous challenge with constructive collaboration.
