Cyber Operations & Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Cyber Operations & Reporting Analyst to support the effective monitoring, coordination and reporting of cybersecurity activities across a complex technology environment. The role will help translate operational data into clear, actionable insight, enabling stakeholders to understand current risks, emerging threats, control performance and incident trends. You will work closely with security operations, technology, risk and governance teams to ensure that reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities will include collecting, validating and analysing cybersecurity data from multiple sources; producing regular operational, risk and compliance reports; maintaining dashboards, metrics and key performance indicators; and identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement. You will support the coordination and tracking of security incidents, vulnerabilities, remediation activities, audits and control assessments, ensuring actions are recorded and progressed to completion. The role will also involve preparing briefing materials for senior stakeholders, documenting processes, improving reporting standards and contributing to the development of automated reporting and data-quality controls.

The successful candidate will have experience in cyber operations, security reporting, risk analysis, governance or a related analytical role, together with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident management, vulnerability management and security controls. You should be confident working with data and reporting tools, with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, databases or business intelligence platforms. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with security frameworks, IT service management practices, audit requirements and tools such as SIEM, GRC or ticketing platforms would be advantageous. A proactive approach, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities are required.
