IT Security Compliance & Reporting Analyst

We are seeking an IT Security Compliance & Reporting Analyst to support the ongoing development, monitoring and improvement of information security compliance across the organisation. In this role, you will help ensure that technology services, systems and processes meet relevant internal policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and recognised security frameworks. You will work closely with IT, risk, audit and business stakeholders to gather evidence, assess control effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating compliance reviews, maintaining control and risk registers, preparing audit evidence, tracking remediation actions and producing clear, accurate reports for management and governance forums. You will monitor key security and compliance metrics, investigate gaps or exceptions, and assist with the development of action plans to address control weaknesses. The role will also involve supporting internal and external audits, maintaining documentation, reviewing policies and procedures, and helping to ensure that security requirements are embedded within relevant projects, suppliers and operational processes.

The successful candidate will have experience in IT security, technology risk, compliance, governance, audit or a related analytical role. You should be confident interpreting policies and control requirements, analysing information from multiple sources and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT or similar, along with an understanding of risk management, data protection and common security controls, would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organisation and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in information security, audit, risk or compliance are desirable.
