We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join a consulting service delivery team supporting clients across the financial services sector. In this role, you will help assess, monitor and improve clients’ cyber security capabilities, working with stakeholders to identify risks, strengthen controls and deliver practical, risk-based solutions. You will contribute to engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time and in line with agreed objectives.

Key responsibilities will include performing cyber security assessments, control reviews, gap analyses and risk assessments; analysing security incidents, vulnerabilities and threat information; supporting the development of policies, procedures, risk registers and remediation plans; and preparing clear reports and presentations for technical and senior business audiences. You will work collaboratively with client teams to understand their operating environments, communicate findings and recommendations, and support the implementation of sustainable improvements. The role may also involve assisting with regulatory and compliance reviews, security maturity assessments, third-party risk activities and the delivery of workshops or awareness sessions.

The successful candidate will have experience in cyber security, information security, technology risk, audit or a related consulting environment, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry. You should have a sound understanding of security frameworks, controls and risk management principles, with familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT or relevant financial services regulations. Strong analytical, report-writing and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or equivalent qualifications are desirable. A proactive, curious and client-focused approach will be highly valued.
