Graduate Cyber Governance Analyst

As a Graduate Cyber Governance Analyst, you will support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of cyber security governance across the organisation. Working alongside experienced security, risk and technology professionals, you will help ensure that policies, standards and controls are clearly defined, consistently applied and aligned with relevant regulatory, legal and industry requirements. This is an opportunity to build practical experience across cyber risk management, assurance, compliance and information security within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the maintenance and review of cyber security policies, procedures and control frameworks; supporting risk assessments and the recording, tracking and remediation of identified issues; preparing governance reports, management information and briefing materials; and coordinating evidence for internal and external audits. You will help monitor compliance with security requirements, contribute to control testing and assurance activities, maintain accurate governance documentation, and support the delivery of security awareness and policy communications. You may also assist with incident governance, third-party risk reviews, information asset management and the monitoring of relevant changes in legislation, regulation and industry good practice.

We are looking for a motivated graduate with a degree in cyber security, information security, technology, risk, governance or a related subject. You should have a genuine interest in cyber security and governance, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret information and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively. Familiarity with common cyber security principles, risk management concepts, security frameworks or standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS would be advantageous, but full training and development support will be provided.
