Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to lead the development and delivery of a proactive threat intelligence capability. In this role, you will oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence relating to cyber threats, threat actors, vulnerabilities, and emerging attack techniques. You will translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for security operations, technology teams, senior leadership, and other relevant stakeholders. The successful candidate will help strengthen decision-making, improve organisational resilience, and ensure intelligence supports strategic, operational, and tactical security requirements.
Key responsibilities will include managing a team of threat intelligence professionals; establishing intelligence requirements and appropriate collection strategies; monitoring open, closed, and commercial intelligence sources; producing timely briefings, reports, alerts, and assessments; and coordinating intelligence-led investigations and threat-hunting activities. You will work closely with incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, fraud, risk, and technology teams to identify threats and support effective mitigation. The role will also involve developing threat actor profiles, conducting trend analysis, contributing to crisis response, measuring the effectiveness of intelligence products, and maintaining relationships with trusted external partners and industry communities.
You should have significant experience in cyber threat intelligence, information security, incident response, threat hunting, or a closely related discipline, together with proven experience leading or mentoring a specialist team. Strong knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, intelligence lifecycle, analytical methodologies, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK is essential. Experience with intelligence platforms, security monitoring tools, scripting, and structured analytical techniques would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant professional certifications in cyber security, intelligence, or risk management are desirable. You must demonstrate sound judgement, curiosity, discretion, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-changing environment.
