You will also mentor engineers, raise security awareness, evaluate tools and technologies, and represent security in technical and strategic discussions.

The successful candidate will bring significant experience in a technical security engineering or security architecture role, with a strong understanding of modern software development and cloud-native environments. Practical expertise in areas such as secure coding, application and API security, infrastructure security, identity systems, cryptography, network fundamentals, and security automation is expected. Experience leading complex security initiatives, influencing without direct authority, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences is essential. You should be comfortable balancing delivery, usability, and risk, working independently in an evolving environment, and taking ownership of outcomes. Relevant industry certifications or equivalent practical experience are welcome, as is a demonstrated record of building scalable security programmes and improving engineering maturity.
