We are seeking an experienced CTI Lead to develop and manage cyber threat intelligence capabilities within a complex, fast-paced environment. This role will lead the collection, analysis and communication of intelligence relating to current and emerging cyber threats, helping to strengthen security operations, inform risk management and support strategic decision-making.
You will set the direction for the threat intelligence function, establishing effective processes, standards and reporting frameworks. Working closely with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and wider technology teams, you will ensure intelligence is relevant, timely and actionable. You will monitor threat actors, campaigns, vulnerabilities and geopolitical developments, assessing their potential impact and translating technical findings into clear recommendations for a range of audiences.
Key responsibilities will include leading the production of tactical, operational and strategic intelligence reports; managing intelligence requirements; improving the use of internal and external data sources; and supporting threat-led investigations and incident response activity. You will also contribute to threat modelling, detection engineering and security control improvements, while maintaining strong relationships with industry peers, intelligence providers and relevant external communities.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat research, security analysis or a closely related discipline. You should have a strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, common attack methodologies and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Experience with intelligence platforms, analysis tools, open-source intelligence techniques and communicating complex information to senior stakeholders is essential.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are required, alongside the ability to prioritise competing demands and work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications would be advantageous. This is an opportunity to shape and mature a high-impact intelligence capability while influencing the organisation’s wider approach to cyber security and resilience.
