Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst
We are seeking a Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst to support the delivery of strategic change across cyber security operations. This role will help strengthen defensive capabilities, improve operational resilience and ensure that transformation initiatives deliver measurable benefits. You will work with technical specialists, delivery teams and business stakeholders to translate cyber security priorities into practical plans and sustainable improvements.
You will analyse current processes, technologies and operating models, identifying opportunities to improve the detection, prevention and response to cyber threats. Responsibilities will include gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, assessing impacts, supporting the development of business cases and maintaining clear transformation roadmaps. You will also contribute to governance activity, track risks and dependencies, prepare progress updates and help ensure that projects remain aligned with agreed outcomes.
The role will involve supporting the implementation of new tools, controls and ways of working across cyber defence. You will help coordinate testing, readiness assessments, communications and the transition of solutions into business-as-usual operations. Working collaboratively, you will facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions constructively and produce concise reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
We are looking for experience in cyber security, technology transformation, business analysis, change delivery or a related discipline. You should have a good understanding of cyber defence principles, security operations, risk management and common security controls. Experience of working with frameworks, service improvement methodologies or cyber maturity assessments would be advantageous.
You will need strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential, as is confidence presenting complex information clearly. A proactive approach, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement will be highly valued. Relevant professional qualifications in cyber security, business analysis, project delivery or change management are desirable, although demonstrable practical experience will also be considered.
