We are seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Software & Systems Engineer to help shape and strengthen secure, resilient software and infrastructure platforms. In this senior technical role, you will define security engineering strategies, establish scalable controls, and work closely with software, systems, cloud, and product teams to embed security throughout the development and operational lifecycle. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex security risks into practical, sustainable engineering solutions.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing security architectures, threat modelling, secure-by-design patterns, identity and access controls, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security monitoring. You will lead the development of automated security checks across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud environments, and production systems. You will investigate complex incidents, support root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions while contributing to security standards, technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance activities. You will also mentor engineers, review designs and code, evaluate security tools, and promote consistent engineering practices across teams.

You bring substantial experience in cybersecurity engineering, software development, systems engineering, or a related field, together with a strong understanding of modern application and infrastructure security. Practical expertise with cloud platforms, Linux, networking, containers, Kubernetes, APIs, secure coding, automation, and programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript is expected. Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling, threat modelling frameworks, logging and detection platforms, and security testing methods is highly valued. You are comfortable working independently on complex, cross-functional initiatives, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and balancing security, reliability, usability, and delivery objectives. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent practical experience are welcome.
