In this role, you will work across security engineering, artificial intelligence, software development and risk management to ensure agentic solutions are secure, reliable, explainable and aligned with business and regulatory expectations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting threat modelling and security assessments for AI agents, orchestration layers, tools, APIs, data pipelines and supporting infrastructure. You will identify risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, excessive agency, insecure tool use, model manipulation, privilege escalation and unauthorised autonomous actions. You will define security controls, guardrails and approval workflows, and help establish testing standards for agent behaviour, resilience and misuse resistance. The role will also involve developing monitoring and detection capabilities, investigating incidents, supporting secure architecture reviews, and maintaining documentation covering risk decisions, controls and operational procedures. You will collaborate with engineering, data, privacy, legal and governance teams to embed security throughout the AI development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have experience in cybersecurity, application security, cloud security, AI security or a closely related discipline, along with a strong understanding of large language models, autonomous agents, retrieval-augmented generation, model APIs and modern software architectures. Practical knowledge of secure coding, identity and access management, secrets handling, vulnerability management, logging and incident response is essential. Familiarity with AI security frameworks, adversarial testing, red teaming, privacy principles and relevant regulatory requirements would be advantageous. You should be comfortable translating complex technical risks into clear recommendations, influencing stakeholders and working effectively in a rapidly evolving environment. Relevant professional certifications or a degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field are desirable.
