Offensive Security & Advanced Testing
We are seeking an experienced Offensive Security & Advanced Testing professional to identify, assess and help address security weaknesses across applications, infrastructure, networks, cloud environments and emerging technologies. You will plan and deliver authorised penetration tests, red-team engagements, adversary simulations and security assessments, using both established methodologies and creative attack techniques. The role will involve translating technical findings into clear business risks, prioritising remediation and working closely with engineering, architecture, risk and operations teams to strengthen overall security resilience.
Responsibilities will include scoping and executing web, mobile, API, network, wireless, cloud and embedded-device assessments; developing bespoke tooling, scripts and proof-of-concept exploits; validating vulnerabilities and safely demonstrating realistic attack paths; and documenting detailed reports for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will support threat-led testing, purple-team exercises and continuous control validation, while helping to improve testing standards, playbooks, detection coverage and secure development practices. You may also contribute to vulnerability research, security automation, incident readiness exercises and the evaluation of new technologies and attack techniques.
Applicants should have substantial experience in offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming or a closely related discipline, with strong knowledge of common attack frameworks, vulnerability classes, identity and access management, operating systems, networking and cloud security. Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript or Go, is expected, together with the ability to analyse source code, understand complex architectures and work confidently with testing tools. Relevant professional certifications are desirable, but practical capability and sound judgement are equally important. You should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, a responsible approach to authorised testing, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining technical independence.
