Enterprise IAM Architect, Global
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise IAM Architect, Global to define and advance the strategic direction of identity and access management across a complex, international environment. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and resilient IAM architectures that support business growth, regulatory requirements, and modern workforce and customer experiences. You will establish architectural standards, technology roadmaps, and governance models covering identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorisation, privileged access, federation, and directory services.
You will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, cloud, data, risk, and business stakeholders to translate security and operational requirements into practical solutions. Key responsibilities include assessing existing IAM capabilities, identifying control and process gaps, developing target-state architectures, and guiding the delivery of global transformation initiatives. You will provide technical leadership for projects involving single sign-on, multifactor authentication, role-based and attribute-based access control, identity governance, access reviews, and integrations across cloud and on-premises platforms. The role will also contribute to security standards, reference architectures, design reviews, technology evaluations, and the ongoing improvement of IAM controls and service performance.
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in enterprise IAM architecture within a large, distributed, or highly regulated organisation. You should have strong knowledge of IAM principles, security architecture frameworks, zero-trust concepts, and relevant standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, and LDAP. Experience with major cloud platforms, identity providers, privileged access management, directory technologies, and automation is highly desirable. You will be an effective communicator who can influence at senior levels, explain complex concepts clearly, and balance security, usability, cost, and delivery priorities. Relevant professional certifications in security, architecture, or identity management are advantageous.
