We are seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst to lead the identification, assessment, prioritisation, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across a complex technology environment. This role will play a key part in strengthening cyber resilience by turning vulnerability data into clear, actionable insight for technical teams and senior stakeholders. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to ensure vulnerabilities are managed consistently and within agreed risk tolerances.

Key responsibilities will include operating and improving vulnerability management processes; configuring and maintaining vulnerability scanning and reporting tools; analysing scan results, threat intelligence, exploitability, and business context; and prioritising remediation based on risk. You will coordinate remediation activities, track exceptions and compensating controls, validate corrective actions, and produce meaningful dashboards and reports for governance forums. The role will also contribute to vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, patch management oversight, security risk assessments, and the development of policies, standards, procedures, and service improvements. You will be expected to identify trends, investigate recurring weaknesses, and provide practical guidance that supports secure technology delivery.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in vulnerability management, cyber security operations, or a related security discipline, with a strong understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies, risk-based prioritisation, and remediation lifecycle management. Experience with enterprise vulnerability management platforms, security information and event management tools, cloud environments, operating systems, networks, and common application technologies is highly desirable. You should be confident interpreting technical findings and communicating them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, organisational, stakeholder management, and reporting skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across multiple teams. Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in cyber security, information technology, or risk management would be advantageous.
