We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to help protect critical systems, applications and information from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate alerts and support the timely resolution of incidents across a varied technology environment. You will work closely with colleagues across infrastructure, applications, risk and compliance to identify vulnerabilities, strengthen controls and promote secure working practices.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and triaging alerts from security monitoring tools, conducting initial incident analysis, documenting findings and escalating significant events in line with established procedures. You will contribute to vulnerability management activities, including assessing scan results, tracking remediation actions and validating that risks have been addressed. The role will also involve supporting security investigations, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and contributing to threat intelligence and security awareness activities. You may assist with access reviews, control testing, security audits and the development of incident response playbooks and operational processes.

Applicants should have practical experience in a cyber security, security operations or related technical role, together with an understanding of common attack techniques, network principles, operating systems, identity management and information security controls. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, vulnerability scanners, ticketing systems and recognised security frameworks would be advantageous. You should be analytical, curious and able to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong investigation, prioritisation and documentation skills are essential, along with a methodical approach and a commitment to continuous learning. Relevant professional certifications or formal training in cyber security, networking or information technology are desirable.
