The successful candidates will provide expert security advice throughout the solution lifecycle, from early concept and requirements definition through to implementation, accreditation and operational support. This role requires strong technical judgement, the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and a thorough understanding of security architecture principles, risk management and secure-by-design practices.

Responsibilities will include developing security architectures, technical designs, patterns and standards; assessing proposed solutions against security policies, regulatory obligations and recognised industry frameworks; identifying threats, vulnerabilities and architectural risks; and recommending proportionate mitigations. Applicants should have demonstrable experience in a security architecture or closely related role, ideally within complex, regulated or high-assurance environments. You will bring knowledge of areas such as identity and access management, cryptography, network security, secure cloud adoption, endpoint protection, application security, data security and resilience. Familiarity with recognised frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, secure development principles and government security guidance, would be advantageous. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain complex risks clearly and influence sound, practical decisions. Candidates must hold, or be willing and able to obtain, Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance and meet all associated eligibility requirements.
