Business Analyst (DV Security Clearance)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with active Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance to support the delivery of complex business and technology change programmes. You will work closely with stakeholders across operational, technical and delivery teams to understand business needs, define clear requirements and help shape practical, secure and user-focused solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects where strong analysis, attention to detail and an understanding of secure working environments are essential.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements; mapping current and future processes; identifying opportunities for improvement; and supporting the development of business cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and process models. You will facilitate workshops, manage requirements through the delivery lifecycle, assess impacts and dependencies, and ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives, security standards and operational needs. You will also support testing, implementation and transition activities, helping to resolve issues and confirm that delivered outcomes meet agreed requirements.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex, regulated or security-conscious environments, with a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and the software or systems development lifecycle. Experience of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods, along with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar, would be beneficial. You should be confident communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, capable of producing high-quality documentation and comfortable managing competing priorities. Excellent analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills are essential. Active DV clearance is required for this position, and applicants must be able to work in accordance with stringent security and information-handling requirements.
