We are seeking an experienced Cyber Vendor Manager to oversee the security, risk and performance management of third-party technology and service providers. In this role, you will help ensure that external partners meet contractual, regulatory and internal cybersecurity requirements throughout the supplier lifecycle. You will work closely with procurement, legal, technology, information security and business stakeholders to assess vendor risk, establish appropriate controls and support secure commercial relationships.

Your responsibilities will include leading cybersecurity due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing suppliers; reviewing security questionnaires, audit reports, certifications and remediation plans; maintaining accurate records of vendor risks, controls, exceptions and assurance activities; and monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels and security obligations. You will coordinate regular reviews with key vendors, track issues through to resolution and provide clear reporting on material risks, control gaps, incidents and emerging threats. The role will also contribute to contract reviews, ensuring that requirements for data protection, incident notification, access management, business continuity, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance are clearly defined and maintained.

The successful candidate will have experience in third-party risk management, cyber assurance, information security governance or a closely related discipline. You should be confident interpreting technical and compliance information, challenging suppliers constructively and communicating complex risks to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with recognised security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 or equivalent, is desirable, along with knowledge of cloud services, outsourcing arrangements and data privacy obligations. Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities, influence decisions and work independently. Relevant professional qualifications in cybersecurity, risk, audit, procurement or supplier management would be advantageous.
