We are seeking a Product Security Incident Response Manager (m/f/d) to lead the coordination and continuous improvement of security incident response for products, platforms, and supporting services. In this role, you will manage the response to vulnerabilities, suspected compromises, and product security incidents from initial assessment through containment, remediation, recovery, and post-incident review. You will work closely with engineering, product management, cloud operations, legal, privacy, communications, and customer-facing teams to ensure that incidents are handled efficiently, consistently, and with clear ownership.

Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining incident response processes, playbooks, severity models, escalation paths, and communication procedures. You will coordinate cross-functional response teams during high-impact events, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and support timely decisions based on risk and business impact. You will oversee root-cause analysis, lessons-learned reviews, corrective actions, and tracking of remediation commitments. In addition, you will help improve detection and response capabilities by analysing incident trends, defining meaningful metrics, supporting exercises and simulations, and ensuring that product security findings are appropriately prioritised. Where required, you will contribute to vulnerability disclosure, customer notifications, regulatory reporting, and collaboration with external partners or relevant authorities.

You bring several years of experience in product security, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, or a comparable field, including experience coordinating complex incidents across multiple teams. Strong knowledge of security principles, cloud environments, software development processes, threat modelling, and common incident response frameworks is expected. Experience with forensic investigation, security monitoring, automation, and risk assessment is desirable. You are an excellent communicator who can explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, remain calm under pressure, and make structured decisions in ambiguous situations. A collaborative, proactive working style, strong organisational skills, and professional fluency in English are required; additional languages are an advantage.
