Security Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a Security Intelligence Specialist to support the identification, assessment and mitigation of security threats across a complex operational environment. The successful candidate will collect and analyse intelligence from open-source, internal and specialist information channels, identifying patterns, emerging risks and indicators that may affect people, assets, operations or reputation. You will translate complex findings into clear, timely and actionable intelligence for relevant stakeholders, helping to inform protective security measures and business decisions.

Key responsibilities will include monitoring global and regional security developments, conducting threat and risk assessments, producing intelligence briefings, written reports and horizon-scanning updates, and maintaining accurate records within relevant intelligence systems. You will contribute to incident response by providing timely analysis, supporting investigations and assessing the potential impact of security events. The role will also involve developing trusted relationships with internal teams and appropriate external contacts, sharing information responsibly and supporting the continuous improvement of intelligence processes, reporting standards and analytical tools.

Applicants should have proven experience in security intelligence, threat analysis, investigations, risk management or a closely related field. You will need strong analytical and research skills, sound judgement, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to present sensitive information clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences. Experience using intelligence databases, analytical software, open-source intelligence techniques and structured analytical methods is desirable. You must be able to manage competing priorities, work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and remain calm and methodical in time-sensitive situations. A relevant qualification or professional training in security, intelligence, criminology, international relations or a similar discipline would be advantageous.
