You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, risk and compliance functions, and external partners to drive measurable improvements in cyber resilience.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining integrated programme plans, budgets, governance frameworks, RAID logs, and performance reports; coordinating multiple concurrent projects and dependencies; and ensuring delivery remains on schedule, within scope, and to agreed quality standards. You will oversee initiatives such as security transformation, identity and access management, vulnerability reduction, incident response readiness, cloud security, third-party risk, security operations, and regulatory compliance. The role will also involve facilitating programme boards and steering groups, preparing concise updates for senior leadership, managing risks and issues, and supporting effective decision-making. You will promote consistent project management practices and ensure that benefits are defined, tracked, and realised.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing cybersecurity or technology programmes in a complex organisation, with a strong understanding of security principles, risk management, governance, and regulatory requirements. A proven record of delivering programmes from conception through to implementation is essential, together with experience managing budgets, suppliers, dependencies, and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, influencing, organisation, and stakeholder management skills are required, as well as the ability to translate technical subjects into clear business outcomes. Experience with recognised delivery methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or MSP is desirable, and professional qualifications in programme management, information security, or a related discipline would be advantageous. You will be pragmatic, collaborative, and confident operating at both strategic and operational levels.
