Analyst, Regional Security Operations Center
We are seeking an Analyst to support a Regional Security Operations Center (SOC) in monitoring, assessing, and responding to security events across a diverse operational environment. The successful candidate will help protect people, facilities, assets, and information by maintaining situational awareness and providing timely, accurate intelligence to relevant stakeholders. This role requires sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and effective during rapidly developing incidents.
Key responsibilities include monitoring security systems, incident reporting channels, and open-source intelligence to identify emerging threats and operational disruptions. You will assess alerts, validate information, support incident escalation, and coordinate with internal teams, local contacts, emergency services, and external partners where appropriate. The role will also involve producing concise incident reports, daily briefings, threat updates, and analytical summaries; maintaining accurate records and handover information; supporting travel and personnel security processes; and contributing to contingency planning, exercises, and post-incident reviews. You may also assist with identifying trends, improving procedures, and ensuring that operational information is handled securely and in accordance with established standards.
Applicants should have experience in a security operations, intelligence, emergency management, risk, or similarly fast-paced analytical environment. Experience using monitoring, case-management, access-control, incident-management, or communications platforms is desirable, along with the ability to research and interpret information from multiple sources. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise competing tasks and work effectively across different time zones and cultures. Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, may be required. Professional discretion, resilience, sound analytical reasoning, and a commitment to confidentiality are fundamental. Relevant training or qualifications in security, intelligence, international relations, risk management, or emergency response will be advantageous.
