We are seeking a Technology Risk & Resilience Manager to join a second-line risk function and provide effective oversight, challenge and guidance across technology, information security and operational resilience. The role will support the development of a robust technology risk management framework, ensuring that key risks are identified, assessed, recorded and managed within approved appetites and regulatory expectations.

You will provide independent review and constructive challenge of technology risk assessments, control environments, policies, standards and remediation plans. Working closely with first-line technology, security, risk and business teams, you will monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities, assess the potential impact of technology change, and oversee the management of incidents, control weaknesses and risk acceptances. You will also contribute to operational resilience activities, including important business service mapping, impact tolerances, scenario testing, disaster recovery and technology continuity planning.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in technology risk, information security risk, IT audit, operational resilience or a closely related discipline, ideally within a regulated or complex environment. You will have a sound understanding of risk and control frameworks, cyber and technology threats, third-party risk, cloud services, change management and resilience principles. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the confidence to provide effective challenge at all levels and influence positive outcomes without direct authority. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 or a recognised risk qualification, would be advantageous. This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening technology resilience, improving risk transparency and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
