We are seeking an experienced Lead Identity Manager to provide strategic leadership across identity and access management (IAM) services. In this role, you will define and deliver an identity strategy that supports secure, efficient access to systems, applications and data across a complex technology environment. You will lead the development of IAM capabilities, ensuring that solutions align with business priorities, security standards, regulatory obligations and modern cloud-based practices.

You will oversee the full identity lifecycle, including joiner, mover and leaver processes, role-based access control, privileged access management, authentication, authorisation and access certification. The role will involve setting standards for identity governance, strengthening controls, improving automation and reducing operational risk. You will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, data protection, technology delivery and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement practical, scalable solutions. You will also manage suppliers and delivery partners where required, monitor service performance, and provide clear reporting on risks, incidents, compliance and improvement activity.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience leading IAM functions within a large or complex organisation, together with strong knowledge of identity governance, directory services, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access and cloud identity platforms. Experience delivering transformation programmes, integrating applications and improving access management processes is essential. You should be confident influencing senior stakeholders, translating technical issues into clear business outcomes and leading teams through change. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are required, along with a methodical approach to risk management and controls. Relevant professional qualifications in cybersecurity, information technology or identity management are desirable. This is an opportunity to shape a mature, secure and user-focused identity capability while leading continuous improvement across the wider technology landscape.
