We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst who is fluent in Mandarin and English to support the monitoring, investigation, and resolution of cyber security incidents. This role will suit an analytical and proactive professional who can assess threats, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and help strengthen security controls across a complex environment. You will work as part of a collaborative security function, contributing to the protection of systems, data, networks, and users against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts and events using SIEM, endpoint detection, and other security technologies; investigating suspected incidents; performing initial triage and escalation; and supporting containment, eradication, and recovery activities. You will analyse logs, identify indicators of compromise, document findings, and contribute to post-incident reviews. The role will also involve vulnerability management, threat intelligence gathering, security reporting, and supporting regular reviews of access controls, security policies, and operational procedures. Mandarin language skills will be important when reviewing regional intelligence, communicating with Mandarin-speaking colleagues or stakeholders, and supporting investigations involving Mandarin-language content.

Applicants should have experience in a cyber security operations, incident response, SOC, or closely related role, together with a sound understanding of networking, operating systems, authentication, malware, phishing, and common attack techniques. Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, vulnerability scanners, ticketing systems, and basic scripting would be advantageous. Relevant qualifications or certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or an equivalent are desirable, although practical experience will also be valued. You should be comfortable working methodically under pressure, managing competing priorities, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive information appropriately. Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
