We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to help protect critical systems, data, and services from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate alerts, and support the identification, containment, and remediation of incidents across a varied technology environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, applications, and risk teams to strengthen security controls and promote effective cyber security practices.

Key responsibilities include analysing logs and alerts from security monitoring tools, investigating suspicious activity, and escalating incidents in line with established procedures. You will contribute to vulnerability management activities, including reviewing scan results, assessing risk, tracking remediation, and verifying that corrective actions have been completed. The role will also involve supporting security assessments, maintaining accurate incident and risk documentation, assisting with access reviews, and helping develop clear reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders. You may also contribute to threat intelligence activities, security awareness initiatives, policy reviews, and continuous improvement of monitoring and response processes.

The successful candidate will have experience in a cyber security, security operations, or related technical role, with a sound understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and common cyber threats. Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint detection and response, firewalls, identity platforms, and vulnerability scanning tools is desirable. Knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory expectations, and recognised practices such as ISO 27001 or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records. Relevant qualifications or certifications in cyber security, networking, or information technology are welcomed, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development.
