We are seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to help protect and strengthen the technology environment of a leading organisation in London. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining effective security controls across cloud, network, server and endpoint infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure, engineering and operations teams to identify risks, improve resilience and support secure delivery of technology services.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and responding to security events, investigating vulnerabilities, supporting incident response and contributing to threat modelling and risk assessments. You will develop and maintain security standards, configurations and technical documentation, while helping to embed secure-by-design principles across infrastructure projects. The role will also involve managing vulnerability remediation, reviewing access controls, supporting identity and privileged access management, and assessing the security of new platforms, services and integrations. You may also contribute to security testing, audit activity, regulatory requirements and the continual improvement of operational processes.

To succeed in this position, you should have practical experience in infrastructure or cloud security, with a strong understanding of networks, operating systems, endpoint protection, encryption, authentication and access management. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, security monitoring tools, vulnerability management solutions, SIEM technologies and infrastructure-as-code would be highly beneficial. Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, cloud security or equivalent qualifications, are desirable but not essential. You will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a collaborative approach to working across teams. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on security maturity while supporting a dynamic, evolving infrastructure environment.
