We are seeking a Senior Security Architect to join an Applied Field Engineering Office supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of secure technology solutions across complex customer environments. This role is suited to an experienced security professional who can translate business and operational requirements into practical, resilient architectures while working closely with engineering, product, delivery, and customer-facing teams. You will provide technical leadership across the security lifecycle, from early discovery and design through implementation, validation, and operational handover.

Key responsibilities include developing security architectures, reference designs, and implementation patterns for cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and distributed environments. You will assess security risks, define appropriate controls, and guide teams on identity and access management, network security, data protection, endpoint security, application security, monitoring, and incident readiness. The role will involve conducting architecture reviews, threat modelling, technical assessments, and design assurance activities, as well as documenting decisions and maintaining alignment with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory expectations. You will also support field engagements, workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and the resolution of complex technical challenges.

Applicants should have substantial experience in security architecture, security engineering, or a closely related discipline, with a strong understanding of modern infrastructure and emerging technologies. Experience designing solutions across public cloud platforms, enterprise networks, zero-trust principles, secure software development, and security operations is highly desirable. You should be comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing decisions without direct authority, and presenting clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. Relevant professional certifications in security, architecture, cloud, or risk management are advantageous. A pragmatic, collaborative approach, strong analytical ability, and a commitment to continual learning are essential. The position may require occasional travel to customer or project locations.
